On April fools day 1995
In 2005 the owners decided to change the name and incorporate the business and Street's was born. "We changed the name to Streets for two reasons, first most people couldn’t spell or remember Exquisite and second our last name is Street and most of the people around here know us".
Street's has changed its focus many times over the past 13 year's at one time even carrying Croc's shoes. Today if you visit you will find an eclectic selection of outdoor décor along with a pretty diverse gift shop.
Cliff & Kristie Street play a behind the scenes role as owners Kristie is an Accountant and is the President of Street's, Cliff is a full time salesman for a local Engineering firm and brings a real world perspective to the different products that Street's has to offer. Kristie is the one who makes the business run. With 5 full time and part time employees, Street's is a pretty busy place.
Like most retailers these Days Street's tends to change seasonally:
· In the spring you will find a large selection of annuals and Perennials along with many specialty plants from Monrovia Nursery's.
· In the Summer inventory changes to include Topical foliage and an event Customer Appreciation Day where Cliff & Kristie cook hotdogs and Sausage and start a 50% off sale on select fountains that last through the fall.
· In the Fall Street's sets up a tent out front and ad’s Pumpkins, Gourds, Indian Corn, Square Hay Bales, and many other fall decorations.
· For Christmas, Street's is known all over
Just a few years ago Street's started offering live
