Some things you should consider when selecting your fountain:
-
Wind and evaporation may require that you fill the fountain more than once per week.
-
Fountains with larger drops from the bowl to basin may lose more water.
-
If your site has lots of wind you may want to choose a fountain that spills rather than drops.
-
Electrical should be provided at the site of your fountain.
-
The electrical should be a standard GFCI outdoor outlet with a protective cover.
-
We offer a one year manufacturer’s warranty on the pump unless stated otherwise. Do not cut off the pump plug and direct wire the pump. This voids the warranty and may be dangerous. In order for Street’s to honor the warranty, you need to provide the original receipt and the broken pump with the electrical in tact. The warranty on the pump does NOT include labor of installing the new pump.
-
Use fountec once a week and NEVER use bleach on the fountain.
-
During a possible freeze, drain the fountain and cover it with the protective plastic cover.
